Ashley Tisdale – ‘Symptoms’

Ashley Tisdale is quite the multi-faceted star. Actress, singer, producer, beauty guru…there’s many strings in her bow and while she’s better known for the drama queen Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical franchise, there is one side to Ms. Tisdale that is often overlooked and that’s her pop star side; very similar to other Disney veteran Hilary Duff.

Mike Posner’s ‘A Real Good Kid’ Is Cathartic For Him But A Heartbreaking Listen

Mike Posner’s ‘A Real Good Kid’ was written over a two year period which saw Posner lose friends and family members – including fellow artist Avicii, and his own father, who he considered his best friend. The album is his third solo release, and fourth overall, having released the self-titled ‘Mansionz’ as part of a duo with blackbear.

Olly Murs has released five albums so far, four of which have reached the number one spot, while his self titled debut, released in 2010, had to be satisfied with second place. Not too shady really! Olly’s 6th album, ‘You Know I Know’, set for release this Friday, November 9, looks set to repeat the trend, with its double album style blend of new songs and older hits.

Rivers – ‘My Little Baby’

Rivers is the stage name of Bedfordshire’s Rachel Early, who has apparently already garnered comparisons to bold, dramatic songstress Paloma Faith. Having performed since the age of 12, the songwriter has finally revealed her debut album, ‘My Little Baby’, which centres on compositions crafted of the piano but incorporates and interesting, but subtle electro element.

Emma Blackery’s New Album ‘Villains’ Is Deeply Introspective And Conceptual

Emma Blackery is nothing if not very busy. A singer-songwriter who’s probably equally known for her YouTube vlogging, as well as her writing – she released her debut book last year, ‘Feel Good 101: The Outsiders’ Guide to a Happier Life’, based on a series of videos on her main YouTube channel – she’s been releasing music 2012. She’s also toured extensively, most notably for us here at EP, when she supported Busted and Wheatus on their UK tour in 2016. ‘Villains’, out tomorrow, is her first full length album, after five EPs.

Michael Philip Reed – ‘Medium Fidelity 2015-2017’

Michael Philip Reed is a man of many talents. He earned the nickname “The One Man Band” from his work with steampunk musical project Steam Powered Giraffe, for which he has been recording engineer, musical arranger, songwriter, backing/lead vocalist – not to mention playing a plethora of different instruments! Here, though, he shows the expanse of his capability solely as a one man band, fulfilling all roles in the making of the album himself. The result does not disappoint.
