Music Bingo: What Is It And How Do You Play?

Are you looking for the perfect game to spice up your party? Why not try out music bingo? Check out this guide to see what it is and how you can play.

Have you ever been to a party and the board games got boring quickly? Or there were too many people who wanted to play? Maybe someone got angry and flipped over the game board?

Disasters like these are every party host’s nightmare! But how do you avoid these situations at your own party?

Another idea is to have a selection of board games that cater to different interests and player numbers, ensuring there’s something for everyone. For a fun twist, you might also consider adding a digital option and play bingo game online, which is a modern and engaging experience for those who prefer interactive gaming. And if you really want to take your party to the next level, why not consider incorporating CBD oil into your event? Not only can it help promote relaxation and reduce tension, but you can also find really good quality top CBD oil that enhances the overall experience for your guests.

If you’re planning a party, you’ll need games big enough to include everyone and fun enough to entice your guests to play.

Music bingo is a fun spin on traditional bingo that allows your guests to jam out to snippets of their favourite songs while playing competitively against other music lovers!

Also, there is an alternative version of this game called Drum Bingo. In this game, you only use drums, instruments like this one.

If your party is quite big, you might need a loud speaker.

Not sure how to play? Let us tell you!

The Rules for Music Bingo

1. Instead of letters and numbers, the caller, or “DJ” in this case, plays 10-15 seconds of a song. Ideally, the songs are well-known by the players or popular songs heard on the radio.

2. The players who recognize the song and see it listed on their card mark the square with a bingo chip.

3. The DJ keeps playing snippets of songs until someone gets 5 chips in a row, four corners, a diamond, or any other approved pattern on their bingo card and calls out, “Bingo!”

4. The players can either clear their cards or continue playing.

There are different variations of the game including instances where players have to get “blackout” where they fill every square on their card to win.

However you choose to play, be sure your guests know the rules.

What You’ll Need for Your Music Bingo Game

You’ll need players and a caller, as well as custom bingo cards with song lyrics, artists’ names, or song titles, depending on how you want to play. You can make your own free bingo cards to ensure you and your guests will be familiar with the songs on their cards.

You’ll need a good sound system and access to all of the songs mentioned on the bingo cards.

If bragging rights and fun aren’t enough incentive to entice your party-goers to play, you may also need cool prizes.
