Jedward are always coming up with another way to spoil their fans, and they really come into their own around the holidays. The duo, who made many of our Christmases last year with their personalised cards and videos (we even got one!), are certainly keeping up the pace this upcoming Valentine’s Day.
In what is bound to be an extremely popular move, Jedward tonight have announced that they will be offering Valentine’s Singagrams, from their website. The Singagrams are available in limited quantities for a limited time, and will be €35.00 for 48 hours, before returning to their normal price of €45.00.
It’s a question a lot of us have to ask, when it comes to selecting Christmas gifts for others – what do you get that they can’t already get themselves? People in the entertainment industry are no different, but it would appear Ed Sheeran has hit the nail on the head this year when it came to choosing a present for his good friends John and Edward Grimes, aka Jedward.
Fame at a young age can have a dramatic effect on a person, a fact to which Justin Bieber, and fellow Canadian and former child star, Shawn Mendes, can certainly attest. The pair last month released their collaborative single, ‘Monster’, in which they recount the roller coaster ride each has been through, the highs and lows of being hot and then not – and what it does to one’s mental health and well-being.
Somehow it’s already November, and if you’re like me, you’ve left it late to organise your Christmas presents. It’s been a hard year, and even if you can get out to the shops to buy gifts, the general vibe of 2020 has been one of not feeling up to it, motivated, or having the energy to think of what to get.
Thankfully, Jedward have it all under control! The acknowledged saviours of 2020 with their life affirming tweets, positive music, and random good vibes DMs, have come up with not just one, but TWO fantastic ways to spread the Christmas joy this year, at two different price points, so you can choose how much you want to spend (or if you’re like me, you’ve bought both for yourself!).
Irish MEP (Member of the European Parliament) Phil Hogan stepped down as EU Trade Commissioner last week, following the much publicised #golfgate – he attended a golf dinner for 80 guests, after having first taken a seeming grand tour of Ireland, including restricted counties, such as Kildare. His resignation left a vacant position in the EU, for which President of the European Commission, Dr Ursula von der Leyen, had asked nominations be taken, one male, one female.
To last ten years in the fickle industry that is the music business, you earn the right to call yourself a star. To go beyond that you start heading into a different solar system. Irish duo Jedward, John and Edward Grimes, today transcend the bounds of the Milky Way as they mark 11 years since they first headed down the road to becoming household names.
The Eurovision Song Contest today announced that from next year there will be an “American Song Contest”, with similar format, but including contestants from all 50 states of the USA. Jedward, no slouches when it comes to both Eurovision AND America, today tweeted that not only would they enjoy hosting the show, but they would also like to write the winning song.
