Jedward Are Just Gas In New Ad With Gas Networks Ireland

In a new advertising collaboration with Gas Networks Ireland, Jedward gently poke fun at their image while sharing a very important message.

The ad, which launched today, sees twins going about their life at “home”, when suddenly the hot water gives out. Trouble between the twins ensues when John suggests they call a handyman to fix their gas boiler, while Edward is insistent on getting a Registered Gas Installer to do the job. The pair end up fighting so much that Edward decides he’s had enough, and packs his bag to leave, only to be left sitting in the sidecar of a motor scooter, presumably shared by them.

Posting on Twitter, Gas Networks Ireland said,

“Don’t risk it all! Always use a Registered Gas Installer and avoid a JEPIC Fail! We are pleased to share a new, national,. multi-media public awareness campaign featuring none other than Jedward!

The campaign highlights the necessity of using a Registered Gas Installer for any gas works in your home and is led by Gas Networks Ireland on behalf of the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU).

Don’t risk it all…use a Registered Gas Installer. A nationwide list of Registered Gas Installers can be found at rgi.ie. #RGI #Jedward #AvoidAJepicFail”

You can watch the ad online on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

Registered Gas Installers – Jedward breakup

The campaign launch follows Jedward’s incredible performance last night on Climate Live UK’s Solar Powered Pink Bus Stage, at Leeds Festival. Jedward performed for just under an hour to an ecstatic crowd, and brought the show to a close with a dance and singalong with Bella Ramsey, among others.
