Xavier Toscano Is Building ‘Castles In The Sky’ With His New Single And Video

Another superb pop track from Xavier Toscano, ‘Castles In The Sky’ is more of an anthemic ballad than his usual high energy dance pop, giving artist an opportunity to demonstrate his vocal versatility, and in so doing open himself up to a wider audience.

The music video for ‘Castles In The Sky’, directed by Adam Parmale, from East Bay Films, follows Xavier as he walks down a road surrounded by densely wooded forests, to the rocky coastal area of Northern California. Accompanied by a sombre piano instrumental, to which strings are added to gradually. The song tells the story of a slow-burn heartbreak, tracking its journey from the start right through to the end. He reflects on the dreams he’s built up with this other person, but he’s realised that they were merely castles in the sky – fashioned without substance.
