EDM producer Heretixx teams up with director Daniel Roger on the music video for his new single, ‘Calling’. The artist, who was born and raised in Los Angeles, spent a year making the video, working with an editor based in Africa.
‘Calling’ is a Deep House track which tells the story of how important it is to truly love yourself; it’s full of positive affirmations which will uplift the listener and empower them. Heretixx’s talent for flipping samples led him into the world of EDM, and he puts this skill to good use, combining it with his West Coast Hip Hop influences. The artist continues to hone his skills as a producer, and his first EP under the Heretixx name, ‘1995’, released last year, is an exciting foretaste of what is yet to come.
The music video, which you can watch below, sees Heretixx entertaining in a club, before moving to the bedroom with his lady. Muted colours add to the sensual nature of the clip, which makes good use of reds and purples; the colours of love.
