Every Single One Of Us Has The ‘Devil Inside’: Me And My Nightmare Release New Dance Track

It’s spooky month, which seems appropriate for Me and My Nightmare’s new single and music video, ‘Devil Inside’.

Led by Méa Fisher, (aka DJ Mea), who has a thrillingly bold sense of style and the voice to match, Me And My Nightmare take EDM to a whole new level. Featuring collaborator En Esch, ‘Devil Inside’ is both twisted and delicious, with distorted guitar riffs, vibrantly metallic percussion, and dystopian synth. Written originally by Mea for Lords of Acid, for whom she was formerly the vocalist, ‘Devil Inside’ has been refined and transformed it into a creation that is distinctively hers, with heavy metal elements fused with a trance-inducing dance beat.

Méa takes charge with her vocals spellbinding, as she both whispers temptation and commands attention: “There’s a hunger that lies, and you hold the key.” With guttural, gruff backing vocals from En Esch, and seductive guitars from Danny Lohner, listeners are compelled to close their eyes, lose themselves to the beat, and indulge in their deepest desires.

The music video for ‘Devil Inside’ is sensationally spooky and just in time for the Halloween season, taking viewers on a journey to the underworld led by Méa and En Esch. We are curiously disoriented by haunted, film-like quick cuts and colourful flashes, as  Méa dances from shot to shot, fully in control, leading us to temptation. She transforms into the “devil inside,” complete with red-painted skin, luscious hair, and curled horns, persuading viewers to explore their dark side, follow Mea into the flames, and never look back.
