Originally from Detroit, but now living in LA, R&B crooner RaH has been making a name for himself both within and outside the music industry.
The video for his new song, ‘Black Lambo’, which features DJ Khaled, himself a household name, is an excellent precursor as to what to expect from his upcoming album, ‘Jackets In Malibu’. It’s a really chill clip, full of shots of Los Angeles by night, with RaH driving around in a black Lamborghini. With a laid back vocal reflecting his many influences, including Bollywood movies, Kanye West, Eminem, Jay Z, and Usher, as well as Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, and Diddy – among others. It was however the self-titled album by Slum Village which saw him start writing verses and hooks way back in the 8th grade, this studious attitude to his music eventually leading to this, his collaboration with DJ Khaled.
