Kelly Monrow Breaks Into Apple’s Top 40 Pop Charts With Revolutionary Track ‘Mama Said’

In a tribute to mothers everywhere, and so pertinent this week when we’ve celebrated International Women’s Day, Kelly Monrow’s single, ‘Mama Said’ fuses pop sensibilities with her natural southern flair, the end result being an empowering and inspiring track that you’ll be humming long after the song’s ended.

The lead track from her October 2022 album, ‘Scars On Venus’, ‘Mama Said’ is a shout-out to everyone’s number 1 fan – our mothers – and tells a message that’s as old of time, one of resilience, love, and hope.

‘Mama Said’ comes with a rocking good music video, that shows that women don’t have to accept just any treatment, and that they should know their worth. The clip features women of all ages putting putting their feet down and letting everyone know they’re not going to be taken for granted. In one scene Kelly is on a date and when the man proves more interested in what is happening on his phone, she puts her foot down…literally.

Kelly Monrow is not a new face to entertainment, and certainly knows what she wants from life. She started out at an early age in modelling, and theatre, and has also appeared on TV in shows such as ‘Billions’, and ‘Lucifer’. She’s certainly going from strength to strength, and with ‘Mama Said’ and ‘Scars On Venus’, she looks set to leave her mark on the music industry as well.

You can watch the music video for ‘Mama Said’ below, and find out more about Kelly Monrow and her music online on her official website, Instagram, and Facebook. Stream ‘Scars Of Venus’ on Spotify.
