Hello Casanova – ‘Stranger Things’ And ‘Childhood Love’

Last year we reported on Northern Irish band, Hello Casanova, and their track, ‘I’ll Be Waiting’. Now the quartet from Armagh have followed it up with ‘Stranger Things’, and ‘Childhood Love’.

An upbeat rock song, ‘Stranger Things‘ isn’t an homage to the Netflix series, but rather a bit of a love song. The track is characterised by furious guitars and thumping percussion and soaring vocals. The ‘Stranger Things’ refrain is catchy and enthusiastic and guaranteed to get the listener up and dancing, if even in their chair. It should definitely be a brilliant live performance song.

Hello Casanova also just released another single, ‘Childhood Love‘, which is initially as frantic and fervant as ‘Stranger Things’, but additionally has elements that remind us a bit of They Might Be Giants, with the semi-spoken lyrics. There’s the full on guitar and drums of their previous singles, so it is set to also be a hit on the dance floor as well.
