David Will Mitchell & Cole Toury Release of ‘Our 100 Best Songs (Volume 1)’, The First Of A Ten Volume Project

Following many years of fans begging them, the acclaimed songwriting duo, David Will Mitchell & Cole Toury have finally relented, and released their album, ‘Our 100 Best Songs (Volume 1)’.

‘Our 100 Best Songs (Volume 1)’ is out now and is available to stream and download here.

The project comprises ten volumes, each containing ten songs, all of which have previously appeared on earlier releases by David Will Mitchell & Cole Toury. Many of the tracks, which have been meticulously curated according to genre and subject matter, have been remastered, while additional artists have been featured, where appropriate, and ensuring that while the songs have been re-imagined, they preserve the original lyrics and melodies.

‘Our 100 Best Songs (Volume 1)’ was recorded at Select Recording Studio, in London’s Wood Green, with assistance in recording and mixing provided by engineer Paul Miles.

The first volume opens with the Americana stylings of ‘Fallen Angel’, and builds up to the fast paced and heartfelt, ‘Catching A Train To Your Heart’. This author’s favourite is, for reasons, ‘Lisa (Brief Encounter)’, which comes in at track 8. It’s a laid back guitar-led country rock song, layered with bluesy touches from the expressive harmonica which has become part of their distinctive sound.

David Will Mitchell & Cole Toury have together released ten EPs and ten full-length albums, over a span of ten years between 2015 and 2025. In addition to their music as a duo, they also write for and collaborate with other artists.
