Nya Is A Scorned Angel In New Short Film For ‘Beauty Comes From Pain’

You don’t ever want to get on the wrong side of an angel. Not only do they have supernatural powers, but they also have righteous friends in high places. It’s this that Nya is portraying in the beautiful short film for her new single, ‘Beauty Comes From Pain’.

Representing a celestial being in the video, Nya metes out vengeance on her enemies – but she takes no joy out of it – she’s just doing her job and putting things right. She is every bit as talented an actor as a singer, and embodies the angel in every way imaginable.

‘Beauty Comes From Pain’ is the title track from Nya’s upcoming album, a debut that showcases her intriguing character in its entirety. Brooding love songs, sophisticated throwback pop, hypnotic, and propulsive beats – it’s all here. ‘Beauty Comes From Pain’ is a ballad that’s both aching and heart-breaking, sung with the characteristic passion and total commitment that Nya’s fans know so well. Nya is set to tour with Lindsey Stirling as the supporting artist on her autumn 2024 European Union/UK Duality Tour, and it’s sure to mark the next step in her unstoppable rise.

Nya also gets the chance to show off her magnetic stage presence in the short film for ‘Beauty Comes From Pain’. She’s the featured artist at a futuristic bar, that boasts android staff and holographic menus, among other sci-fi things. But we soon discover she’s an an angel trapped on earth, when her wings are stripped from her body, and, quite literally, turned into angel dust. We see to what lengths she’ll go to make sure she gets her vengeance on her captors, and reclaim her power; of course, it’s only as far as she needs to.
