The Real Meladee returns with new single and video, ‘Rocket Man’. The rapper and trailblazer from Talahassee Florida has been dropping singles at an alarming rate, and her craft has been fine tuned more and more every time. Following on from ‘Birkin‘, and ‘Set The Tone‘, ‘Rocket Man’ is yet one more example of how fast she’s taking off.
With an almost villainous beat by Michael “Mikey” Murray, The Real Meladee drops bar after bar, flexing seemingly effortlessly, with casual flow that oozes with confidence. Not only does she clearly believe every single word she says, but we have no reason not to believe it ourselves.
The music video for ‘Rocket Man’, directed by DSVX Shots, features raw and stylish shots of The Real Meladee as she spits her truth, while cruising through the Miami night scene. She makes it all look so easy – but don’t be fooled – The Real Meladee is in a different league to the rest of us, and her talents are truly out of this world.
