We Return To Ron Brunk With The Third Of His New Releases, ‘Now Repeating’, A Sobering Reflection On The Vicious Cycle Of Greed And Violence

Our third and final track from Ron Brunk today is his single, ‘Now Repeating’. The spoken word track contains a message about paying attention to what is going on, and in particular to the greed and violence of the military-industrial complex and their seemingly never-ending cycles.

Brunk builds up the tension with his poetry, the music rising to a harrowing crescendo, pulling the listeners into a sense of urgency, and a feeling of futility.

With the music video for ‘Now Repeating’, Brunk makes use of old footage of war scenes, bringing to mind the similarity between today and those bloody wars of the past. “See the past repeating”. The poem has been written in order to wake up Brunk’s audience, as it alludes to Greek mythology as well as The Bible; bringing violent imagery to the very edge.
