Premiere: Jen Fodor Returns With Music Video For New Single, ‘Love Struck Baby’

We’ve been writing about Jen Fodor for a couple of years now. She’s a force of nature, and has certainly taken hold of Hollywood with two hands – becoming not just a triple threat but one to beat all. Starting out as a film/tv producer, working alongside the likes of Spike Jonze, and Foo Fighters, as well as Jennifer Aniston, Cardi B, and Paris Hilton, she then decided she might like to lend her talents to songwriting – and of course, she aced that, with her soundscapes that are overflowing with vibrancy and an ethereal quality; while at the same time being lighthearted and often, playful.

Jen doesn’t limit herself to one genre either. She’s written songs across the range, including rock, pop, and country, and she’s stepped up to the mic in her latest single, ‘Love Struck Baby’, showing that she is a talented vocalist as well as all her other skills.

‘Love Struck Baby’ sees Jen tapping into the innocence of young love; she calls on those memories of when you realise that you’ve fallen head over heels with someone. Jen’s gorgeous vocals are pop perfection, layered over the retro-sounding synth track. The music video, which sees Jen alternating between wearing a brightly coloured, streamer-covered jacket, and a gloriously 80s inspired blazer, covered with pastel-coloured jungle leaves. Oh yeah, there’s the incredibly fun gold pants too! Jen is not alone in the clip – she is joined by 4 other women in a dance choreographed by Kelly Yvonne, known for her work on the videos for FKA Twigs’ song, ‘Cellophane’ and Lil Nas X’s ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name. The dance routine, combined with the upbeat fun of the song itself, will have you up and dancing before you know it!
