NII CO. was previously signed to Warner Music Philippines and had released three singles with the label before rebranding himself as NII CO. The pop and future bass producer has released his latest single, ‘In My Dreams’, a song appropriate for these pandemic times, about the fear of loneliness, and the search for love and companionship.
Recorded in just three days in his home studio, ‘In My Dreams’ was inspired by the affect homeschooling was having on his social life, and, accompanied by a simple piano instrumental, he calls out for love with a vocal melody that’s both emotional and very moving.
NII CO. cites as among his influences the likes of Owl City, Porter Robinson, and Joji, while his music itself refers back to both EDM and pop.
