Christina Morgan-Diaz – ‘I Need More’

Christina Morgan-Diaz has dedicated her life to Christ, and rather than fall into hopelessness when facing times of trouble – such as the current global situation, she has always found solace in the adage, “with that strength, remember that there is always hope”. She has been given many opportunities through her life to share her musical talent, and her new single, ‘I Need More’, written by Pastor Thomas Johnson, is not just a showcase of her voice, but also her love for God.

Not long after Christina decided to fully pursue her musical gifts, she was given the opportunity to minister to hundreds of women as a featured soloist in the Dominican Republic. She also shared the stage at Madison Square Garden, and Izod Center for The Christ Tabernacle Choir for Hezakiah Walker and The Katinas. Christina praises Jesus by way of uplifting hymns, and also works as a licenced therapist, and infuses her music with her first hand experience of the torment of mental illness.

In the music video for ‘I Need More’ we see Christina asking what she can give to Christ. She sings as she walks through Forest Park in Queens, New York, beautiful and strong in a gorgeous blue dress. Asking, “But what can I give him?” she realises, as the scene transitions to her standing on a boat, “I’ll give him all my love”.

One sure way of giving that love is by serving the community; the current times make us feel like that is an impossible task, but there are countless ways we can still lend a hand to our family, friends, and strangers. In order to serve God, it is important to also serve others.
