Indie-rock band Amber Run continue to show their ability to mix it up like the other best acts around. ‘What Could Be As Lonely As Love’, their latest single from their upcoming album third album, explores that feeling of love even when you don’t feel worthy.
Currently on tour across the UK, US & Europe, Amber Run’s setlist includes songs from ‘Philophobia’, out on September 27th via Easy Life Records.
Speaking about the song, frontman Joe Keogh explains,
“Unconsciously, over the course of our three records, it feels like we’ve started to soundtrack the more difficult moments in people’s lives. With this song, we wanted to juxtapose the sentiment of not feeling worthy of love with a more optimistic soundtrack, in order to gain some perspective when you’re too deep in the situation to see clarity. We wanted both sides of the coin.”

Philophobia is a visceral yet philosophical exploration of the effects – positive and negative, damaging and restorative – that love of all kinds can have on a person.
