Warm Brew grew up as school friends listening to the likes of De La Soul, and even The Doors.
The Los Angeles based trio, comprising Ray Wright, Manu Li, and Serk Spliff, have been through a variety of label deals, released a number of well-received singles and albums, and have seen their style and reputation grow and be well-established. Their latest single, ‘Player Way’, features Wiz Khalifa, and is a low-key track that comes with a striking animated music video.
Warm Brew lay down the law with their new single, ‘Player Way’. They tell it like it is, and in the clip, directed and animated by Tristan Zammit and Alex Sarzosa, we watch a tale (penned by Chris De La Rosa) of girls, parties, and adoring fans – as well as betrayal, redemption, and a heist involving a team of racing cars, which pull the Warm Brew crew off into the sunset.
Wiz Khalifa adds his laid back vocals in the hook, inviting everyone to join in with Warm Brew’s party. It’s an altogether chilled out track, muted, subtle, and sets the pace for the party that lays ahead.
