19 year old Tomhio, from Rotterdam in The Netherlands, started playing piano at a young age, before developing his skills as a drummer. He was asked to play drums in a band with friends, and thereafter became interested in recording their music. From there he started recording and producing music for the band, before moving on to his own music.
‘Chasing’, his debut single, is an upbeat dance track with clever sound effects including rain coinciding with the lyrics, “let the rain fall down”. The female vocal is the perfect accompaniment to the instrumentals and the vibe is altogether a positive and fun one. It’s a catchy track which should easily find this young Dutch star rising to become a talent to contend with.
