If There Was Any Doubt, Ron Brunk’s Single, ‘Mostly I Love Cats’ Confirms It

Just about two years ago, Ron Brunk was met with seven feral kittens outside his home in West Virginia, and he felt the call to care for them immediately. Now, his life is filled with light and laughter, and a companionship like no other. Initially he was wary of sharing his feline-filled world with others, but now he freely shares his tales of Little One, Mr Hank, Molly, Rusty, and Snaggly, and his fans love it.

Brunk’s single, ‘Mostly I Love Cats’, is a real toe-tapper of a song, with his acoustic guitar playing an Americana-Calypso style. accompanying his gravelly vocals. In the song he writes about all the things that are most important to him – his family, the earth, the moon and the sun, food, his hamster, his dog – but most of all, he loves cats. His tongue-in-cheek humour is at its best in this love letter to that found family that turned his world upside down.

With the music video for ‘Mostly I Love Cats’, Brunk brings back the mannequins from ‘Real Person‘, as well as his furry friends. Donning a cat-ear beanie, leopard print gloves, and drawn on whiskers, Brunk perfectly illustrates someone who’s totally succumbed to the feline allure. Catchy and fun, ‘Mostly I Love Cats’ is sure to appeal to everyone -whether you’re a cat lover or not.
