Jaysin Voxx Reminds Us To ‘Keep It Real’ With New Pop Earworm

In these current times of troubles and hardship, we need to fight against the urge to dwell on it, and instead, take the advice of Jaysin Voxx, and ‘Keep It Real’, with a disco pop dance sound.

Lifelong optimist Jaysin Voxx believes we need to take a different approach to life, and see the glass of life as half full, rather than half empty. An artist who grew up in the Bay Area, in a region rich with musical legends, Jaysin Voxx quickly understood the necessity of standing out against the other emerging talent. Rather than go with the flow and fit in with what the industry expected, he stayed true to his identity, challenging convention, and leading with positivity.

With his sound, which he calls “Nu-Disco Pop Funk” (DPF), Jaysin Voxx brings infectious and effortless grooves with the aim to spark joy, and inspire listeners to ‘Keep It Real’.

Brought to life in collaboration with Michael J. Calhoun, founding member of the Grammy-winning Dazz Band, and one of Jaysin’s inspirations, ‘Keep It Real’ shimmers with nostalgic sounds while vibrating with a hopeful future. Hypnotic basslines and an intoxicating rhythm cement Voxx’s call to those who hide their true selves behind masks, challenging them to be real, rather than put on a show. In the mind of Jaysin Voxx, authenticity leads the way, and when we ‘Keep It Real’, the world becomes a brighter place.

The idea for the ‘Keep It Real’ music video came to Jaysin in a dream, which saw him having visions of walking through a tunnel, wending his way through dark corridors, until he was met by a circus filled with masked figures. The clip balances between reality and fantasy, inviting the viewer to question what they see, because not everything is as it seems. Not all is illusion, however, but rather, it’s a celebration, a party come to life on screen, a reflection of Voxx’s philosophy, empowering in every frame.
