London Artist JAZMYNE Defies Genres With ‘Psycho’, The Follow Up To Her Successful Debut Release

Out now, ‘Psycho’ is the new single from London-based singer-songwriter, JAZMYNE. The track seamlessly blends pop and RnB, with the result an infectious dance pop track with a nostalgic edge.

‘Psycho’ is available to stream and download here.

‘Psycho’ sees JAZMYNE go up and down the emotional rollercoaster of a toxic relationship where her feelings are manipulated, and leaving her hurt and confused. The track is based on her personal experience, where she was relentlessly pursued by a guy who, once she showed interest, decided instead to pull back. JAZMYNE realised eventually but the experience wasn’t love, or anything close to it, but rather, manipulation, and, channelling all the raw emotions from the ordeal, wrote ‘Psycho’ as a cathartic form of therapy.

Not only is ‘Psycho’ an effective release for JAZMYNE, but it’s wholly relatable for anyone else who’s been in a similar situation, and the song and lyrics offer strength and empowerment, and the encouragement to move on.

Even if you’ve not been in a similar situation, ‘Psycho’ and its blend of upbeat, slightly retro, pop and RnB is a sure-fire dance hit, that will get you moving even when your feet say no.

Originally from Sweden, but now based in London, JAZMYNE’s sass, raw emotion, and lyrical empowerment, and not to mention incredible vocals and talented lyricism, has seen her attract the attention of music industry heavyweights, and garnered to her a sizeable following. Additionally, JAZMYNE has collaborated with top producers and songwriters, including Duvall from Disciples, Lewis Gardiner (Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas), ISHI (Emily Sandé, Avicii), Taneisha Jackson (Doja Cat, John Legend), and Tylrrydr (Ashnikko).
