The message we want fans to take away from this song is to never lose hope in finding love.
Can you describe any memorable moments during the creation of ‘Girl 4 Me’?
When we were working on ‘Girl 4 Me,’ the artist who originally sang the hook—though I won’t mention his name—was supposed to come back to the studio to lay down a few more backing tracks. After hearing what we had so far, he was blown away by how the song was shaping up. But then, unexpectedly, he refused to finish the session, leaving the song incomplete. We suddenly had a dilemma, but Craig ‘Mr. Groove’ Lane’s quick thinking saved the day. He brought in another incredible vocalist who absolutely nailed the performance and brought the song to life.
Are there any particular artists or songs that influenced ‘Girl 4 Me’?
‘Girl 4 Me’ is heavily influenced by 90’s R&B, especially in how soulful the hooks were written. It captures the essence of that era, where every melody and lyric was filled with deep emotion.
