Top Shelf Lyricism From Blueburst With New Single, ‘Kick My Tires’, Out Now And Coinciding With Debut Album, ‘Significance’

‘Kick My Tires’ from Blueburst, is the follow on from their July release, ‘Senseless’. Out yesterday, October 20, it’s an irresistibly catchy, unapologetically rock track, that will have you wanting to hear everything they have to offer, and thankfully, its drop coincides with the release of the band’s debut album, ‘Significance’.

Straight out of the gate, ‘Kick My Tires’ is everything. With stylings reminiscent of Aussie rockers, The Church (this is no coincidence), it’s an absolute joy to listen to every single note, and while the hands of Marty Willson-Piper, who mentored and collaborated with Blueburst, are evident in the single, full credit to the rendition, vocals, and the incredible guitar playing (check out the solo at about the halfway mark – mmmm chef’s kiss!) must go to the artist.

Blueburst, aka Craig Douglas Miller, brings a sound that is both crisp and immediate, his guitar soaring throughout, and lyrics like, “virtuous strangers pass judgement on me/and everything I do/ my entire life’s on trial/by the whimsy of you” are just…exquisite. Blueburst even manages to namecheck his new album – always a nice touch.

‘Kick My Tires’, as well as ‘Significance’, is out now. Watch the lyric video for the single below. You can find out more about Blueburst and their music online on their official websiteFacebookYouTube, and Spotify.
