Visionary Hip Hop Artist Nemesis Has Got That ‘Vibe Flow’

Growing up in the sunny streets of Southern California, Nemesis is a hip hop visionary with her experimental sound. New single, ‘Vibe Flow’, is a statement of purpose for the insightful artist, who we’ve heard before in her her music with Pure Order, her project with frequent collaborator, God’s Gift.

The daughter of a self-taught architect, Nemesis absorbed the world from a critical and creative perspective, and when she discovered her talent for music, channelled it into learning a variety of instruments, including piano and alto sax. Likewise, she developed her signature lyrical style, which sits somewhere between poetry, spoken word, and in-your-face rap.

Nemesis has made a name for herself by writing songs about spirituality, resilience, and social justice over dreamy, effusive beats, and her music urges hip hop to make good use of its grit, guts, and gusto and focus on higher things. Nemesis’s new single, ‘Vibe Flow’, is just one of many releases in 2023: she will be releasing both a solo album and more music from Pure Order before the year is out.

Over an irresistible bop beat with a whispering sax/synth sound, Nemesis declares her mission to raise the energies of those around her. Her vibe is flowing, and it’s straight to the mark: she communicates her relaxed approach to creating sustainable change through spiritual growth.

The music video for ‘Vibe Flow’ is a mellifluous mirage, reminiscent of classic SoCal hip-hop videos. We follow Nemesis through Los Angeles and the friendly neighborhood of her homebase, Oxnard, in Ventura County. Joined by her crew, she preaches to the streets, sings praises to the trees, and cruises the streets in a sixty year old Pontiac Bonneville. Check out ‘Vibe Flow’, and ascend to the heavens, taking your vibe to a higher plane.
