Ryan Terrigno Releases Gorgeously Emotive Love Song, ‘Get Lost’

Based in Anaheim, California, where he lives with his wife and dog, Ryan Terrigno has storytelling music creation down-pat with his new single, ‘Get Lost’.

With stunning lyrics that tell the tale of someone who is so in love with their partner that they don’t ever want to be separated from them, even in death. Lines like, “I always told you if I don’t go first that I would wander the earth like a ghost, I always told you that you were more a part of me than most of me’s a part of myself”. On the surface that might seem a bit morbid, but it’s just one example of the deep feeling Terrigno has for his wife.

It’s a mature, subdued sound, deeply personal, and incredibly relatable. ‘Get Lost’ is just the first example of what’s to come from Terrigno’s debut album, ‘Alive and Well’, set for release later this year. If you’re surprised at the quality of sound from a debut single from a debut album, then don’t be – Terrigno was previously the front man for rock bands, We Are The Arsenal, and Wester. Having said that, the pop-folk sound of ‘Get Lost’ seems like a new direction for this artist.

It’s hard to categorise Terrigno’s sound, so maybe we shouldn’t. Even so, there’s more than a hint of the likes of New Found Glory, or even Hot Chelle Rae to his music. Guitar-led with an anthemic chorus, ‘Get Lost’ feels like the sort of song that would be as easily adapted to a campfire singalong as to a live concert; it’s a song that lends itself to both in an intimate venue and a full scale arena. Imagine what an audience of 20,000 voices would sound like singing that chorus!

‘Get Lost’ is out now and can be streamed and downloaded here. You can find out more about Ryan Terrigno and his music online on his official website, Instagram, and TikTok.
