The Rising Release New Single 23rd July & Major Festival Appearance

Ahead of the release of their new EP, ‘No Hope Without Love’, song-writing and production duo The Rising will release their new single, ‘Break The Chains’, on July 23.

Inspired by the social and equality issues that have been at the forefront of the news since 2020, the single continues on with their strategy of releasing a single every 7 weeks, which they’ve been doing since 2020.

This strategy has seen The Rising added to a Spotify editorial playlist for their last single and a Main Stage Festival appearance at Pub In The Park on 3rd July, where they opened for All Saints.

The Rising will also be appearing at this year’s Big Feastival Festival on the BBC Introducing Stage on 29th August.

You can pre-save ‘Break The Chains’ here. Watch the teaser trailer for ‘Break The Chains’ below:

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
