A mere two months ago STAR 2 dropped his last video, and already he’s returned with his new single, ‘Tell Me Thatchu’.
A song filled with good vibes, incredible beats, and slick vocals, ‘Tell Me Thatchu’ once again sees STAR 2 take the spotlight, in this absolute masterpiece. Seamlessly grabbing each note, his vocals and are mellifluous, while his rapid-fire words are intelligently thought out, without once missing a beat.
The lyrics tell the story of a night out; it’s a modern love story which sees STAR 2 wearing his heart on his sleeve, hoping that a girl feels the same way about him, and she’ll finally let him know.
The clip for ‘Tell Me Thatchu’ is an animated video, and it’s so well made that it’s nigh on impossible to tell it’s not live action. Starting with an extremely zoomed-in clip of STAR 2 and his killer shades, we soon get a panoramic view of the city. As the beat picks up, STAR 2 rolls through the busy city streets, driving his luxurious car, while a holographic love interest suddenly appears in the passenger seat. The pair take an animated journey around the world of STAR 2, while the viewer gets to see everything like they’re actually there.
