New York artist Kira Rizavi brings soaring vocals along with warmth and positivity in her debut single, ‘Breathe Down’. The young singer-songwriter, who has been favourably compared to Diana Ross, and Rihanna, has already performed at Madison Square Garden, The Metropolitan Opera, and The Bitter End.
‘Breathe Down’, which was released in October this year, was produced by Tony Coluccio, from Global Media Music. Coluccio has himself overseen the creation of more than 20 Billboard Number One Dance Hit Remixes, including ‘All The Single Ladies’, by Beyonce, and ‘Hurt’, from Christina Aguilera.
Now with ‘Breathe Down’ he feels Kira Rizavi has provided a new anthem, one which reflects the precipice the world is currently situated on. The song is accompanied by a gorgeous music video, shot by Upstate New York videographer, Peter Crosby, who recorded it at the socially distant Pepacton Reservoir, at the southernmost edge of Catskill Park. The stunning visuals include a colourful bombing of smoke, which adds to the positive vibes, as sung by Kira.
Speaking of her new single, Kira said,
“It’s so important, especially in this year’s craziness, to take the time to breathe and focus on the people who you love and trust. I hope to bring comfort and love to people with this song.”
