Sound Of Kalima Make Use Of Social Distancing With New Single ‘Wild Trash’

Out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Sound Of Kalima have been making music together for the best part of a decade, having first met at university. They’ve made good use of the current lockdown situation, and renovated their entire musical catalogue, going so far as to completely delete everything from their streaming services, in order to make way for their new music.

First cab off the rank is ‘Wild Trash’, an industrial style tune that’s reminiscent of something by Thomas Dolby, or even Madness. It’s quite a wonderful tune, pulling in elements of hip hop and combining them with sung melodies, and industrial sounds. Indeed, if this is the new “Sound Of Kalima”, then it’s something we like.

‘Wild Trash’ is out today and can be streamed and downloaded here. You can follow Sound Of Kalima on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
