Sanya N’Kanta – ‘Can’t Stop Thinking Bout You’

‘Can’t Stop Thinking Bout You’ takes an epic journey across the universe by way of the cosmopolitan musical path of artist/producer, Sanya N’Kanta. The track is from his latest record, ‘The Counterfeit Revival’.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Sanya was brought up on a diet of reggae courtesy of his father, and it somehow made its way into his being. A friend in middle school however introduced him to classic rock, in particular the guitar stylings of Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, and it’s this which convinced Sanya to make music. From that point he picked up 80s synth, 90s/00s hip hop, and modern soul and alternative. There’s also some indie rock sounds in his music, making his tunes a true microcosm.

‘Can’t Stop Thinking Bout You’ pays homage to all these styles, with a club-ready rhythm, as well as Sanya’s evident talent, and its lyrics will speak to the heart of any one of us who has fallen in love.

The video shows Sanya in full swing, singing and playing guitar, against a cosmic backdrop of stars. A man is gazing at a beautiful woman, and he literally can’t stop thinking about her. They both reach out to each other, across the universe, their union celebrated by Sanya.
