Nicky Romero Shows That True Love Has No Use-By Date In New Single ‘Stay’, Featuring Vocals By Moa Lisa

Dutch DJ, producer, and remixer Nicky Romero’s latest single, ‘Stay’, is testament to the belief that excitement, love, ecstasy, and euphoria don’t have to be short lived experiences, they can stand the test of time.

The video for ‘Stay’ is heartwarming. An older couple dance with abandon to the music, and show the dedication for one another we might consider is reserved only for young lovers. The pair play, bicker, kiss, and explore with enthusiasm – getting all they can out of life – and doing so with the help of Nicky Romero’s music.

Romero has enlisted the assistance of Swedish singer Moa Lisa on the vocals for ‘Stay’. A talented new artist, her vocals fit in perfectly with the musical bed. The track is propulsive, yet not over the top; comforting, yet still energetic; a dance track, and yet entirely suitable as a cool-down at the end of the night.

Romero has been examining the theme of true love for over a decade now – that through it time can be frozen – the secret of eternal youth. The same hopeful spirit can be seen in his previous releases, such as his track with Avicii, ‘I Could Be The One’, which topped the charts and went triple platinum. Likewise, ‘Like Home’, which smashed double-platinum, which he recorded with Australian duo, Nervo. His tireless optimism is what has drawn names such as David Guetta, Calvin Harris, and Martin Garrix – just to name a few – to work alongside him.
