Salute Music Makers Announce Top 100 Tracks Battling It Out On World’s First Truly Interactive Playlist Voting System on Facebook Messenger

On Sunday evening 24th September, the finalists for Salute’s quest to unearth the very best in British musical talent were announced on Salute Music Maker’s Facebook page.

Heralding the final stage of the competition to find the best of unsigned UK musical talent, the remaining artists have battled through an initial talent pool of over 2000 entrants to the stage which matters the most – judging by the music fans themselves.

Forget the industry standard, generic voting systems used by other competitions – Salute Music Makers have developed a whole new way for Music Lovers to vote and become curators in their own right for their favourite songwriters.

In a world first, voters register their votes for their favourite artists by interacting with an AI Bot in Facebook Messenger: called Salute Music Messenger commencing 26th September.

Al bot will interact with the user throughout this voting stage by unlocking ten completely-randomised, 10 track playlists, every fourth day where the public will vote for their favourite track.

Voting closes on 27th October, the six acts who have made it to the final of the competition will be those who were featured in the most playlists.

Those voting won’t know the time or date the  playlist voting is closed, the drama is extended to the very last minute as every track on the playlist can be changed – the leader board can be turned on its head at any time while all playlists are active! Salute Music Makers have ensured that this unique voting system engages with the user at every stage of the process, even allowing for latecomers to receive any backdated playlists they missed.

Spearheaded by the legendary former front-man of The Undertones, Feargal Sharkey, Salute are proud to be providing a platform for the up-and-coming songwriters of the UK. The Salute team of curators including Ras Kwame, Chris Tofu OBE, Jonathan Quarmby, Simon Perry (ReverbNation), Fiona Bevan, Dee Adam and Kwame Kwaten have evaluated and judged thetop 100 artists, whose futures now lie in the hands of the most important people – the music lovers.
