Italy’s hard rock sensation, Sixty Miles Ahead, have premiered their new video for ‘Every Time I Try’, the first single off their upcoming album release of Insanity, coming out worldwide October 21st via Eclipse Records. The video for ‘Every Time I Try’ was filmed in Treviso, Italy and was directed by Francesco Sogaro of Nuove Tecniche Multimedia. The video offers up a first glance of the epic new 12-song album, Insanity, that will be released by Sixty Miles Ahead later this week.
Not only is ‘Every Time I Try’ an outstanding single on the album but all twelve songs have that precise and articulate hard rock sound that Sixty Miles Ahead is capable of producing including another stand out track ‘Never-ending Fight’. Guitarist of Sixty Miles Ahead Fulvio Carlini had this to say about their latest single ‘Every Time I Try’: “This song represents a change for us. From a musical point of view we’ve always been a hard rock/metal band, but on the new album we’ve added a little more melody. We wanted to sound more… intimate and personal through both the music and the lyrics. Every Time I Try is about things that keep you away from who you are, and what you really want. It could be anything: haters, drugs, dating…. we all go through this kind of stuff, and while writing this song in particular, each one of us was thinking about something different and self-related.”
Sixty Miles Ahead will also be playing on October 24th in Faenza, Italy at the Trilly Bar to promote the album release. Insanity is already available for pre-order via iTunes and Amazon. It’s also available to stream on Google Play. For more info about Sixty Miles Ahead check out the bands Facebook, Twitter, and Eclipse Records.
