Born in Colorado but now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Sonny Mackenzi has dreamed of singing, writing, and performing since the tender age of three. She’s finally taken the plunge and has released the video for her debut single, ‘New Crush’.
‘New Crush’ was co-written by Hot Chelle Rae’s Nash Overstreet and RCA recording artist, Kiana Brown. It was produced in LA by Craig King, who is best known for his work with Kanye West and Ludacris. ‘New Crush’ perfectly showcases Sonny’s girl-next-door-with-an-edge persona, while highlighting her flawless vocals.
Sonny’s MO for her music is to put out a positive message:
