You might wonder how ‘Leave A Mark’ is our 6th door of Advent. Well, this year it’s the charity song for ALONE Ireland, for whom Jedward are the Christmas ambassadors.
ALONE highlights the isolation and loneliness sometimes felt by the elderly. Edward said,
“We think that it’s a really important cause and that everyone should take some time to look out for older people in their community. We encourage everyone to spread the Christmas cheer by sharing your presence, which is the most important gift of all”.
People in Ireland can take an #Elfie4ALONE by texting ALONE to 50300, to donate €4.
All proceeds from Jedward’s single, ‘Leave A Mark’, will go to ALONE. Donations from outside Ireland can be made via their website, with 100% going to their front line services.
