Jimmy & The Revolvers announce a string of live dates through December and have also recently released their double-sided single, ‘The Morning Paper’, featuring two outstanding indie rock tracks that display the bands versatile, original, and unique music style.
Vocalist and acoustic guitarist Jay Rehm, bassist and vocalist Jordan Wright, guitarist Jimmy Moon, and drummer Ash Michael all came out of Liverpool where they run a night club and assist up and coming talent striving to make it on the scene; but when they are not doing that; you can find them in the band called Jimmy & The Revolvers gigging up and down the country making new friends and fans everywhere they go.
Jimmy & The Revolvers open up a string of live dates on October 31st with a show at Studio 2 to help launch the release of the bands new single ‘The Morning Paper’. The lead track on the single ‘The Morning Paper’ has a big professional production with cleverly written lyrics and a powerfully dynamic instrumentation. The song features a horn section which compliments the lead guitar parts and has a driving beat with a danceable rhythm. The vocal harmonies and the effects that are used really add a nice classic touch to the upbeat rock sound.
The B-side on the single is a live version of Drink & The Devil Blues which has a lot of character as you can sense that you are in a pub with the band watching them as they play the song live. It has a classic and vintage feel because of the intense natural room reverb but this also adds an angelic effect to the vocal harmonies.
