Joe Carnall has been a reluctant figurehead of the indie rock scene in his hometown of Sheffield for over a decade, with his band Milburn. Wanting to explore a different area, he set out with the help of close friend Matt Helders, himself no stranger to the music of Sheffield, as drummer, vocalist, songwriter, and founding member of Arctic Monkeys. The result – Good Cop Bad Cop, and the project’s self-titled, 11 track album, written by Carnall and produced by Helders.
Christopher Ian Brooker, who performs as Where Are We, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, and has been producing and releasing music for over a decade. His latest track, ‘Not My President’, is a contemporary electronic protest song, with a unique blend of indie rock and EDM.
In 2009 Vulture Whale hit the indie rock scene with the music video for their track, ‘Sugar’. Now their frontman Wes McDonald is back, with his new project and alter-ego, Terry Ohms. Terry’s single, ‘Ghost’, and the accompanying video, showcases just how far he’s come along on the winding road of his career.
