Southampton Dreampop duo, The Diamond Age have been self-producing their recordings since late 2013, releasing ‘Yesterday Was’ and ‘Andrew’s An Android’ on SoundCloud in November that year. Formed of Matt Canning and Bilu Acharjee, the The Diamond Age have recently released a new single, ‘Sleepwalking’. Doing exactly what it says on the tin, the song fully captures the ambience of the title with ethereal melodies and vocals.
The Diamond Age’s raison d’être is the creation of music with immediacy and melody at its very heart, drawing together elements of indie, shoe-gaze and kraut-rock.
