Jedward will be releasing deeply sensual ‘Bodies In Action’ this Thursday 13 June, alongside the already announced ‘Soul Crushing’. The songs are the first two tracks on their upcoming fourth album, ‘Voice Of A Rebel’, which comes out June 27, via Universal Music. ‘Soul Crushing’ is already available across Asia.
Having signed with Universal Music Asia earlier this year, Jedward today announced that first single from upcoming fourth album, ‘Voice Of A Rebel’, will the song, Soul Crushing’. The track will be released across Asia tomorrow June 6, and in the rest of the world on June 13. ‘Voice Of A Rebel’ comes out June 27.
Hot on the heels of the lyric reveal of their song, ‘Teenage Runaway’, Jedward have released the words for another track from their upcoming fourth album, ‘Voice Of A Rebel’. The second song, ‘Respect Your Dreams’, comes ahead of their UK tour, which starts with two nights at the historic Manchester venue, The Factory, 10 and 11 May.
It’s been nearly 7 years since Jedward released the concept album, ‘Young Love’. Their third album, it signalled the end of their relationship with former label, Universal Music Ireland, but significantly, not the end of their career. Since that time, they have worked hard at establishing themselves as independent artists, releasing 12 stand alone, self-written singles, starting with ‘Free Spirit’, back in July 2014.
With Ireland today finally revealing that they’re sending Sarah McTernan as their entry to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, two time entrants Jedward – to date the holders of the best result this century for Ireland – have announced they will be performing 6 UK concert dates this May. Further dates, including the possibility of Dublin shows, are yet to be confirmed.
If like us you enjoy a bit of Eurovision, you’ll also know that ever since their two time tilt at the contest in 2011 and 2012, Dublin’s favourite twins Jedward have been rumoured to return. 2019 is no different, with the whispers once again starting up, wondering if John and Edward Grimes will be back this year, and if so, representing which country.
