Detroit’s They Travel at Night Prep Debut EP , ‘Entropy’

Comprising Lou Scanlon and Chuck Howard, They Travel at Night is a band from Detroit, whose wide ranging tastes aren’t limited by genre, but rather, they pick and choose whatever they are most inspired by at the time. The title of their debut EP, ‘Entropy’, released on February 2, reflects this, but even so it takes their varying influences and somehow, despite their different sounds, makes a cohesive whole.

Wheatus have just about finished their mammoth UK tour, which they started in early October. We last spoke with founder and lead singer, Brendan B Brown, back in 2016, and he’s managed to find some time in his incredibly busy schedule to set aside a few minutes to chat with us. It was a great catch up, and we talked about their current release, their Christmas EP, ‘Just A Dirtbag Christmas’, their upcoming 20th anniversary edition of their ‘Wheatus’ album, the secret to the staying power of Teenage Dirtbag, and about meeting your heroes.

Molly Burman Releases EP ‘Worlds Within Worlds’

Last week, British-Irish singer/songwriter Molly Burman released her second EP, the brilliant six-track release, titled ‘Worlds Within Worlds’. Following up her 2021 debut release of ‘Fool Me With Flattery’, the new release has already received widespread critical acclaim for its high production quality and lyrical content, where Burman explores conversational topics such as sexuality, identity and emotions.
