Brady Harris Further Evolves Signature Beatles-Infused Americana Rock Sound With New EP, ‘Hotel In The Sky’

Born in Texas but now resident in California, indie rock musician and producer Brady Harris released his latest EP, ‘Hotel In The Sky’. Available to stream and download on all platforms, it features vocals reminiscent of John Lennon, backed by crunchy vintage electric guitar, multi-layered melodies, and a retro pop sensibility.

Brady Harris’s style focuses on the craft, while emphasising the roll in “Rock N’ Roll” in its ebb and flow. ‘Hotel In The Sky’ was written, recorded, performed, and produced by Harris himself, at BlackPug Studios in Los Angeles, as well as La Grotte Studios, in Nice, France.

The five track EP opens with title track, ‘Hotel In The Sky’, an homage to a real life drug den in East London, as well as the feeling of been deeply in love. Second track, ‘Economy Of Sound’, meanwhile, makes reference to the power of music to transform people, and the escape it provides, particularly, in this instance, a teenager feeling trapped and alone in the suburbs.

Track 3, ‘Welcome Back To The Comedown’, examines the feeling one experiences at the end of a love affair, while the penultimate track, ‘Parting Gift’, focuses on those love affairs we know are bad but somehow are never properly concluded.

The final track on the EP, ‘Chateau Hill’, takes its inspiration from Colline du Château, with its expansive views of Nice Old Town, as well as the beaches along the Promenade des Anglais.

‘Hotel In The Sky’ is available to stream and purchase from Bandcamp, while you can stream the title track on Spotify.
