Our whistle was certainly whetted with ‘Drum City’, and so we present yet another track and video from the title track of Appice Perdomo Project’s album, ‘Running Up That Hill’. It’s a fully instrumental reworking of the Kate Bush classic, with a “Stranger Things” twist to the music video.

Even though a drum city would certainly be a loud place to live, it definitely wouldn’t be one that lacked discipline, and it would certainly have plenty of rhythm. ‘Drum City’, from Carmine Appice and Fernando Perdomo sees them build a powerful sonic soundscape, and one that is guaranteed to get your feet tapping.

‘Firepit’, the latest track from Scoville Unit’s album, ‘See What Can Be’, is refreshingly approachable, upbeat, and genuine, and a great antidote to the cookie-cutter music that we hear on the radio these days.

The video for J-Will’s single, ‘Institutionalized’ is a stirring essay in black and white, facing square on the injustice in the world, and, quite powerfully, the institutionalized racism of the police force in the United States. Directed by Moon Man, we see the artist move around his adopted city of Los Angeles, taking in everything that goes on around him, and keeping up a running commentary about it.
