Born in France, based in Luxembourg, Antoine Honorez is an insomniac. Performing as Napoleon Gold, he uses his sleep problem to his advantage, taking inspiration in the altered states which come from the constant exhaustion, and creating glorious musical pieces. Even his stage name comes from his insomnia: Napoleon Gold is the name he gave to the early morning light, that which he’s experienced way too often.

Lovers & Poets – ‘Sugar High’

LA duo Lovers & Poets got their musical start in the lounge of Vietnam’s Saigon Park Hyatt hotel. Shannon Hurley, spent three months at the piano there as she wrote, recorded, and mixed most of the vocals and keys for their debut album. Meanwhile, halfway around the world, band-mate and husband Ben Eisen rounded it all out with bass and additional programming. Their new album and its title track, ‘Sugar High’, is out now.
