DaLomonze Rescues His Damsel In Distress In Music Video ‘For Your Love’

Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, artist, songwriter, engineer and bandleader DaLamonze was always surrounded by music, and considered it less of a career path, and more of a calling. He first caught people’s attention as a teenager, as a member of the Cleveland Children’s Orchestra, and from there he threw himself right into the music scene, under producer DJ Phatty Banks. Zoom forward through fifteen years of hard work, and DaLamonze has since been nominated for two Grammy Awards and a Dove Award, as well as writing and performing his own songs, engineering records, building his own studio, and leading a band.

DaLamonze’s new single, ‘For Your Love’, is the ultimate declaration of devotion, and stands as the unbreakable testimony of a lover who won’t let anything stand in the way of the person he adores most of all in the whole world. The melody was built up around a violin sample created by his friend, the classical violinist Jamie Vaughn, and it’s a beautiful track, charged with passion and sincerity. DaLomonze’s vocals soar over a bright piano, while listeners are swept off their feet and into a world filled with love.

The music video for ‘For Your Love’ taps right into the romantic fantasy element of the song. Alone in the woods, a knight awakes to find himself abandoned, and covered in blood. Calling for his princess, he sets off to find her. Meanwhile, she’s in her castle, spinning out in her despair, distraught with the idea that something may have happened to her lover. The short film is the perfect set up for the song, with the lovers, together once more, declaring their eternal dedication to each other.
