Piano driven alt-pop, ‘Love Me Now’ serves to highlight Tom’s gift for creating original stories, which take listeners on a journey of discovery. The artist recorded the single late last year at London’s renowned TYX Tileyard Studios, where he worked with US born, London based producer, Margill Lamarre. The experience was so satisfying that he plans to return later this year to record his debut album.

Mastering was done by Steve Smart, one of Australia’s most respected mastering engineers, at Studios 301 in Sydney.

Enjoying a hands-on creative vision, Tom also directed and edited the music video that accompanies the track, bringing a mediaeval feel to the clip. Additionally, Tom has also designed his own official website, which serves as a hub for his artistic world.

Tom Morfitt-White’s musical abilities have been described as well beyond his years. The artist has been entranced by music from a very young age, starting from when he would mimic Stevie Nicks on her ‘ Live in Chicago’ DVD. He attended his first concert in the Spiegeltent in Melbourne, just aged one, before he could even talk he was crafting his own tunes. This led to Conga lessons from the age of six, and a lead role in musical theatre.

Last year Tom connected with Lamarre, and the pair started working to realise Tom’s vision. Their studio sessions impressed producer Sean Hargreaves, who’s worked with the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Rita Ora and Mica Paris.

‘Love Me Now’ will be followed by a second single in July, and an EP is set for release in September.
