RockRackz Brings Out The Fun With Video For ‘Icky’

With a short film shot by Dee Lenz, the new single by RockRackz, ‘Icky’, brings out the truth in a genuinelt fresh, fun, and validating way.

There’s no two ways about it – ‘Icky’ is a stoner anthem. Intoxicating, if you will. It’s light on its feet, stretching forward to the summer that’s to come, opening with its tropical reggae feels, before bringing on a trap cut that’s immediately grooving. Smoke might not be your thing, but it’s impossible to resist vibing with the idea of stretching out on a towel on the beach, where the weather is just right, and the salty air is the perfect soak for a mellow aroma. With stripped back instrumentation, including rubbery 808s, and crispy snares, each bar floats blissgfully over the melody, while RockRackz lands every line with laid-back precision.

The track is accompanied by a short film, that opens with a doorbell chiming, a cue for the hungry customer to open the door to a pair of “Icky Eats” delivery drivers, giggling suspiciously. It’s easy to work out it’s not just food they deliver. They hand over a bag, and shuffle on their way, as the video dissolves to RockRackz sparking one up.

Every shot in the clip revolves around our star, whether he’s gaming with friends, manning a food truck stocked with “Icky Burgers” and “Icky Sweets,” or lounging on its rooftop. He commands attention without ever having to ask for it, and gives viewers a glimpse into his growing creativity, conviction, and undeniable star power.
