Danny Addison Release New Music Video for ‘Beck and Call’

Danny Addison’s just released a new video for his recent single, ‘Beck and Call’, as it leans into dream-logic, stitching together a surreal, half-haunting tableau. The release arrives just ahead of his debut album ‘Porcelain’, set for release on the 29th of August via Zenith Cafe.

We enter through the smoke of a hidden poker game, faces painted in stark monochrome – half-clowns, half-spectres. It’s disorienting, but so is the song. ‘Beck and Call’ wrestles with regret, fixation, and the claustrophobic pull of obsession.

As the chorus hits, the room fractures, swallowed by circus performers: fire spinners, rope dancers, bodies on stilts. The video’s strange carnival mirrors that inner state: the poker game as control, strategy, rules; the circus as chaos, compulsion, the uncontainable. Addison’s lyrics speak of dying and returning, of sins documented and relived, visions that fit the fevered unreality of the performances.

The poker table collapses under the weight of these uninvited performers, just as Addison’s narrator collapses under the weight of memory. ‘Beck and Call’ thrives on that tension: order undone, intimacy splintered into spectacle.
