The Dead Daisies Are Explosive With ‘BOOM BOOM’

‘BOOM BOOM’ sees The Dead Daisies at their most raw, electrifying, and unapologetic. With a sound that is fully rooted in the spirit of 70s rock, while immersed in modern blues, it’s also a lyrical celebration of pure magnetic energy.

With gritty vocals, swagger in spades, and rhythms that romp and stomp all over, it’s a full-body experience from the first riff to the final solo. The Dead Daisies challenge anyone to manage to stay seated while listening to ‘BOOM BOOM’ – it’s relentless and bold with its bluesy riffs and powerhouse vocals, a celebration of the enduring soul of rock and roll.

Likewise, the music video for ‘BOOM BOOM’ sees The Dead Daisies do what they do best: they’re at they’re most unstoppable, and with all the grit and swagger they’ve come to be known for. The clip follows frontman John Corabi as he walks down the promenade that runs alongside the River Rhone, in Lyon, France. His hair is long and flowing in the breeze, while the lyrics are “graffitied” along the wall, on signposts, and so on, as he passes by. Adding to this are colourful animated effects, such as fireworks, “ghosts” of the other members of the band, as they perform, and so on. It’s catchy, inviting, and a whole lot of fun.
